Murr

Nothing much to expound on but I just wanted to write that I'm am ever so grateful for music. Even though I am an awful player I am able to find such solstice in the making of music. Whether it be in the wind symphony, my various quintets, by myself or the orchestra, I am able to hide away from the world for just a bit and hopefully provide something similar for others who listen.
My life is crazy recently and I've been able to go away to my land of music quite often as an escape.
On another note, I have been taking classes that are electives for my major but don't apply to sociology and I miss it soo much. Even though I am enjoying my Mediation classes and even more so the volunteering at the various courts and schools around the county I want to dive back into my major classes. Academic reading just doesn't cut it.

  1. Everyone needs to have a media both to indulge in and retreat into. One full of creation is often the most fulfilling such as drawing, writing, and music as only a few great examples. I'm so pleased to hear that you haven't given up your sanctuary as so many people do with the continuing onset of life and it's tedium of devoir.
